Epic Group Announces SPECTRA: Transforming Indian Apparel Manufacturing

 

At Epic Group, we are honored to take a significant step forward in our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and growth in the apparel industry. Under the guidance of our Chairman, Mr. Ranjan Mahtani, and in collaboration with Creative Group , led by Chairman Mr. Vijay Agarwal, we are proud to announce the formation of hashtag#SPECTRA, a joint venture that aims to set new benchmarks for apparel manufacturing in India.

This journey began with a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on January 9, 2025, and has now culminated in a formal shareholder agreement. The partnership is backed by an initial investment of USD 15 million, with a vision to achieve ₹500 crores (USD 60 million) in the coming years.

The first project under the SPECTRA banner is a state-of-the-art Denim & Bottoms manufacturing facility, with a production capacity of 700,000 units per month. This facility will not only be one of the largest of its kind in India but also position the country as a key player in the global denim market.

At SPECTRA, we are deeply committed to driving progress while prioritizing sustainability, innovation, and community development. Key highlights of our initiative include:

  • Sustainability at the Core: Our operations will leverage green energy, ensuring a minimal carbon footprint.

  • Empowering Communities: We will create 3,000 jobs initially, expanding to 10,000 jobs over time, harnessing the talent and potential of India’s workforce.
